What to Expect

I provide a complimentary initial 'meet & greet' to explain my programs and take the first step in building a care partnership.

What happens during a visit?

A typical 1.5-hour visit includes:

  • A physical exercise activity (chair exercise, walking program, active game)

  • A cognitive memory activity (card games, trivia, technology)

  • A social activity (music, arts & crafts, reminiscing)

These programs are tailored to the interests and needs of the senior.

Service Delivery

Time Well Spent follows the principles of Recreation Therapy in our service delivery. I will:

  • assess your needs and interests,

  • set achievable goals and plan purposeful programs,

  • engage in meaningful activities with you in your home and community,

  • evaluate your progress and provide updates to caregivers.

Quality Care

  • I have all required licenses, certifications, and insurance to provide quality, safe care.

  • I will provide continuity of care by personally visiting each week at a set time.

  • I am reliable and accountable.

I know situations can change - there is no long term commitment. 

Locations I Serve

I currently serve the Tri-Cities including Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody.

 

I provide support to seniors living at home, in long-term care, and assisted/independent living.
